Intermodal tipper bin

Our Intermodal Side Tipper Bins allow for rapid off-loading of materials from rail wagons and road trucks.
These provide efficient bulk handling rail solutions, encouraging greater utilisation of rail wagon container haulage. It increases payload on rail wagons from 54 metric tons to 60 metric tons. A single tipper bin is able to hold 30 metric tons for road transport. Robust intermodal side tipper bins are easily handled onto container rail wagons and road trucks by a container handler.
An important feature of these Intermodal Side Tipper Bins (which can be stacked four-high for storage), is they can be used across different modes of transport, including road and rail, without the need for investment in double handling cargo.

Big tipper

The Big Tipper is a fully functioning, 12m Elevated Container Tipper Frame (ECTF), which does not require any external electric or hydraulic systems to function.

4 way tipper

The 4-Way Tipping Flatrack is a versatile tipping frame that can be attached to most 6m skeletal trailers. It features a plug-and-play air and hydraulic interface for easy operation and can tip forwards, backwards, left and right by locking any two of its four hinge points.

  • Compatibility: Converts any standard 6m skeletal trailer into a four-way tipper.
  • Efficiency: Tipping direction can be switched in under a minute, with angles of up to 45° lengthwise and 30° sideways.
  • Capacity and safety: Supports up to 20T, with a minimum safety factor of 2.
  • Local support: Manufactured and supported in South Africa, using industry proven components that comply with road weight and height limits.
  • Cost savings: Reduces unloading time, fuel consumption, and space requirements.

Container tippler

The Container Tippler has been developed for fast unloading of open-top containers, of either half or full height.
This newly developed, advanced system allows for fast and efficient engagement, unloading and repositioning of closely-spaced ISO-sized open-top containers, from road or rail transport wagons. Once the container is safely engaged, the control system takes over full functionality to lift, unload and reposition the empty container, without the need for operator intervention.
